BIRST also offers income protection cover for employers and their employees.
The full policy schedule provides details of all cover available. In summary the core main cover provided is listed below:
- Personal accident and sickness cover, offering 24 hours per day, 365 days per year protection.
- 3 cover options for Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
- Cover for 85% wages to a maximum of either Bronze $1,250, Silver $1,500 or Gold $ 2,000 per week payable up to 104 weeks.
- Waiting period of 14 days.
- Superannuation contributions in addition to weekly benefit.
- Workers Compensation Top Up Cover.
- Accidental death benefit $ 300,000 (workplace accident only).
- Include defined benefits for accidental dental cover limit $1,000.
- Age limit up to 70 years.
